Consciousness is the feeling of living or existence. It is what it feels like to be YOU… YOURSELF. As I write down this blog, I am acutely aware of my consciousness intertwined with the words on this page. It encapsulates both your essence and the realm of your thoughts.
This concept appears straightforward, yet it gains complexity when certain philosophers pose the question - What is the origin of consciousness, and why do we possess awareness in the first place?
Each individual’s experience is unique and cannot be directly observed or measured by others. Another reason why science can’t explain consciousness is because science usually deals with quantifiable data that can be measured and observed by everyone, but consciousness is something within us.
Philosophically speaking, according to Dualism, your mind and your body are two separate things and correlate with each other.
Spiritually speaking, I think consciousness is something that cannot be explained within the laws of physics. It’s something we don’t know completely. Consciousness is something which is connected to the universe, with God, with nothingness.
